How To Control Dog’s Shedding

Dogs shedding their fur is something that all dog owners must deal with.

It is a completely normal process that all dogs go through.  Shedding is a natural way in which your dog stays clean and healthy.

In order to contain your dog’s shedding, or limit it, brushing your dog on a regular basis is the best way to avoid masses of dog fur piling up on your furniture.  Brushing your dog regularly is a way in which you can keep your dog healthy.

Grooming your dog with a brush helps remove excess and loose fur and redistributes your dog’s skin oils throughout its fur — helping it stay in place.  Giving your dog regular baths (once a month) will also control the amount of fur your dog sheds on a regular basis.  This will also help with limiting fleas and ticks that can diminish your dog’s overall health.
